"Down there," I said, pointing out the door," There's another basic work room, for making tools and random stuff. And that's pretty much is, except the construction site. And you shouldn't go down there, unlesss you happen to have a hard hat."

"Yup." I took another bite of cookie dough. "Wanna go play dart until the others get here?" Just then several more chilren came running down the Tunnel. One of them stopped to talk to me.

"James got detention."

"Figures," I said, laughing.

I jumped down into the Tunnel, glad to be done with dettention. All I had doenw as tell the teacher her bun must be to tight, because she got something wrong. Come on!

"This is San. She found the Tunnels today."

"Um... hey." I waved a little back, feeling stupid. Suddenly I noticed what Aubrey was eating. "Ooh! Coockie dough!" I took the tube out of her hand and started eating.

"Hey!" I snapped, hands on my hips.
